City To Host Parade of Quality Affordable Homes
October showcase to feature over two dozen new homes for sale in historic
neighborhoods throughout Houston
October 14, 2011 -- The City of Houston's Housing and Community Development Department and Houston HOPE – a City initiative promoting neighborhood reinvestment through revitalization, homeownership and infrastructure investments – will be hosting a Fall Parade of Homes over the next two weekends.
The showcase will feature over two dozen affordable homes ready for quick move-in. Home prices range from $89,900 - $159,900, and qualified buyers may receive up to $30,000 in downpayment assistance.
The Parade of Homes will take place on:
- Saturday, October 15 ... 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Sunday, October 16 ... 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.
- Saturday, October 22 ... 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Sunday, October 23 ... 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.
These Houston HOPE homes are located in some of Houston's most historic neighborhoods within close proximity to major thoroughfares, employers and activity centers.
