HUD Requirements & Guidelines

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has awarded the City of Houston $50,095,000 in Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funding to support long-term recovery from the 2021 Winter Storm Uri. Administered through HUD’s Office of Community Planning and Development, this funding is intended to address unmet needs that remain after all other forms of assistance have been exhausted.
