Transportation, Technology, and Infrastructure

Committee Chair David W. Robinson, Vice Chair Sallie Alcorn, and committee members will review matters pertaining to: the Houston Information Technology Systems Department, the General Services Department, some issues relating to the Administration and Regulatory Affairs Department, and the Houston Public Works Department, including the Build Houston Forward Program, Water Resources and Conservation, Water & Sewer Systems, Streets & Drainage, and Mobility.

COVID-19 UPDATE: Due to health and safety concerns related to COVID-19, this meeting will offer the options to participate via videoconference or in-person.  The location for the committee meeting will be City Hall Council Chamber, 901 Bagby, 2nd Floor, Houston, Texas 77002. The meeting will be open to the public but restrictions regarding masks, allowable room capacity, and seating arrangements may be in place.

The Chair, as presiding officer of Committee, will be physically present in chamber. In accordance with the provisions of Section 551.127 of the Texas Government Code applicable to a governmental body that extends into three or more counties, all other committee members have the option to participate in-person or virtually via Microsoft Teams.

Meetings will continue to be broadcast live on the City of Houston's Municipal Channel, HTV, and also live-streamed and archived online via HTV. Meetings will continue to include the opportunity for public comment via teleconference or in-person. The link to sign up to speak at each meeting will be provided below.

  • Joint Meeting with Quality of Life Committee -- Agenda | Climate Action Plan Presentation
  • The Quality of Life (QoL) Committee and the Transportation, Technology & Infrastructure (TTI) Committee will be holding a special called joint committee meeting on Wednesday, August 26 at 2 p.m. via Microsoft Teams Live. The joint committee will review the Houston Climate Action Plan, and receive an update from Public Works on the mayor’s street rehabilitation initiative and a response to FY21 budget amendment 14.05. The committee meeting will be streamed on HTV or can be watched online here: https://tinyurl.com/Aug26QoL-TTI. Public comment will be allowed via videoconference; no in-person input will be allowed.
