The Houston Parks and Recreation Department operates 5 above ground skateparks and the Lee & Joe Jamail Skatepark, the first world-class, in-ground skatepark in our region.

WARNING: TEXAS LAW (CHAPTER 75, CIVIL PRACTIVE AND REMEDIES CODE) LIMITS THE LIABILITY OF A GOVERNMENTAL UNIT FOR DAMAGES ARISING DIRECTLY FROM HOCKEY, IN-LINE HOCKEY. SKATING, IN-LINE SKATING, ROLLER-SKATING, SKATEBOARDING, ROLLER-BLADING, PAINTBALL USE, OR SOAP BOX DERBY USE ON PREMISES THAT THE GOVERNMENTAL UNIT OWNS, OPERATES, OR MAINTAINS FOR THAT PURPOSE.- Skateboards and In-Line Skates Only.
- Know your abilities and use the facility at your own risk. Exercise common sense and general courtesy to others. Be alert. Flying objects and bodies are not uncommon. Spectators should watch from the spectator area or outside the fence for safety.
- All skaters are required to wear helmets. It is strongly recommended that skaters also wear protective equipment including, but not limited to, shoes, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards.
- Bicycles, BMX, scooters, razors and motorized vehicles are prohibited in the Skatepark.
- Children under the age of 10 years must be accompanied by a parent or authorized adult.
- Indecent, abusive language or any activity which creates a public nuisance is prohibited.
- The skatepark is closed during wet conditions.
- No food, drink or refreshment is allowed on skating surface.
- Help keep your skatepark clean by using the trash cans.
- Graffiti or defacement of this facility is prohibited.
- Personal ramps are prohibited.
- Use of wax is prohibited.
- Use of any tobacco products is prohibited.
- Alcohol and illegal substances are prohibited.
- Glass containers are prohibited.
- Solicitation of fees or donations is prohibited without prior approval of Houston Parks and Recreation Department (H.P.A.R.D.).
- Animals are prohibited.
- No Skating on Non-Skate Equipment
- All skaters, spectators and patrons must follow HPARD staff directions.
Rule violators will be asked to leave the Skatepark.
Refusal to leave may result in charges for trespass.

SKATEBOARDING CLASSES FOR YOUTH AND TEENS
An introductory class designed to teach participants on the proper technique of skateboarding and to enhance their overall experience at the skatepark. Learning objectives include balance, pushing, rolling in, dropping in, park etiquette, safety, how to fall, and flexibility.

BURNETT-BAYLAND SKATEPARK
6000 Chimney RockThe Station at Burnett-Bayland Park was opened to the public in March 2017. The design for the 17,500-square-foot in-ground skatepark includes a volcano, bowl, upper decks, grind ledges, stairs and handrails, flat bars, various banks, a quarter pipe and multiple steel pipes. A group of neighborhood youth helped plan the skatepark.
CLIFF TUTTLE SKATEPARK
6200 LyonsThe skatepark at Cliff Tuttle Park opened on Friday, January 18, 2008. It was named the Joe and Theresa Padilla Skatepark on September 5, 2008, honoring the Padillas for their years as neighborhood boosters. Boasting such features as quarter pipes, bank ramps, grind boxes, and stairs and rails, the facility at Cliff Tuttle Park is designed to give the skater a world-class workout on an exciting series of challenges.
CLINTON SKATEPARK
200 MississippiClinton Skatepark was completed on September 14, 2005.
The 12,070 square foot facility measures 142' x 85'. Components include half pipes, roll-in, bank ramp, quarter pipes, half pipe, street spine, jump box, grind rail 14', grind ledge 14', pyramid 6', grind rail square 12', grind rail round 12', grindbox (kinked), grind rail (kinked round 20'), sub box, bank ramp with kicker.
DYLAN DUNCAN SKATEPARK
3950 Rustic WoodsThe Dylan Duncan Skatepark, originally named the Kingwood Skatepark, was the very first public skatepark built by the City of Houston. It was dedicated on May 21, 2004. It was renamed the Dylan Duncan Skatepark in December of 2006. The 5402 square foot facility measures 73' x 74'. Components include: a mini half pipe with 90' hip, skate benches, a kinked round grind rail, a kicker ramp, skate tables, a bank to stair with rail, shade structures with benches, drinking fountain and a bike rack in the shape of a skateboarder.
EASTWOOD SKATEPARK
5020 HarrisburgEastwood Skatepark was dedicated on May 21, 2005.
The 4,928 square foot facility measures 88' x 56'. Components include: a concrete curb, a grind box, a grindrail, a concrete bench, a curved bench, a mini ramp with start wedge, a pyramid with planter and a wedge with box.
WATONGA SKATEPARK
4100 Watonga Blvd.Watonga Skatepark was completed on July 25, 2005.
The 12,070 square foot facility measures 142' x 85'. Components include half pipes, roll-in, bank ramp, quarter pipes, half pipe, street spine, jump box, grind rail 14', grind ledge 14', pyramid 6', grind rail square 12', grind rail round 12', grindbox (kinked), grind rail (kinked round 20'), sub box, bank ramp with kicker.
