Park Projects and Repairs

• Castillo Playground Closed – June 30, 2024.
  Castillo playground is closed June 30, 2024, until further notice. Due to age and parts are obsolete.
• Cottage Grove Park Basketball Pavilion Closed - May 15 - July 5, 2024.
  Cottage Grove Park Basketball Pavilion is closed due to roof replacement May 15, thru July 5, 2024.
• Cresmont Park Basketball Pavilion Closed - June 30, 2024.
  Crestmont Park Basketball Pavilion is closed due to Roof Replacement June 4, 2024, thru June 30, 2024.
• E.P. Hill, Zollie Scales, Crestmont, JT Trotter & Haviland Playgrounds Closed – April 29 - Until Further Notice.
  E.P. Hill, Zollie Scales, Crestmont, JT Trotter and Haviland playgrounds, due to removal and replacement will be closed until further notice.
• Halbert Park Trail Closed - June 24 - 26, 2024.
  Halbert Park Trail is closed due to repairs June 24, thru June 26, 2024.
• Lee LeClear Tennis Courts Closed - May 29 - July 15, 2024.
  Lee LeClear Tennis Courts is closed selected Tennis Courts due to fence repairs May 29 thru July 15, 2024.
• Leroy Moses Basketball Pavilion Closed - May 13 – June 30, 2024.
  Leroy Moses Basketball Pavilion is closed due to Roof Replacement May 13 thru June 30, 2024.
• Mangum Manor – Playground Removed – November 3, 2023 – Until Further Notice
  The Mangum Manor Playground has been removed and has been placed on the Playground Replacement List due to due to age and life expectancy. An estimated replacement is to be determined.
• Melrose Classrooms Will Not Have AC July 2, 2024.
  Melrose Classrooms will not have AC due to HVAC installing 2 condensers July 2, 2024.
• Stude Community Center Temporarily Closed – Until Further Notice
  Stude Community Center is Temporarily closed due to power outage. Will reopen once the issue has been resolved.
• Trinity Gardens Park Basketball Pavilion Closed – September 29, 2023 – Until Further Notice
  The Trinity Gardens Park Basketball is closed until further notice. We are currently in the design phase for the pavilion’s renovation.
• Windsor Village Playground Closed – December 20, 2023 – Until Further Notice
  The Windsor Village Playground was removed on December 20, 2023 due to its reaching its estimated life expectancy. The playground has been placed on the Playground Replacement List.
• Winzer Park Sprayground Closed – June 4 - July 31, 2024
  The sprayground at Winzer Park is closed due to unforeseen issues. We are currently working on a resolution and anticipate opening the sprayground at the end of July 2024.
