Fun Facts
The area inside the Loop 610 carries an “urban” designation in terms of development. Currently, the urban area designation allows for reduced building line requirements for certain developments, a minimum lot size of 1,400 square feet under certain development situations, Special Minimum Lot Size (LS) and Special Minimum Building Line (BL) status and other allowances. Proposed ordinance changes are under review that, if approved by City Council, will allow certain “urban” development regulations to expand out to the Beltway.
