Jarett Dillard is an associate in the Energy & Natural Resources group. He focuses his practice on construction litigation, contract disputes, and alternative dispute resolution. Jarett’s experience in construction disputes ranges from residential to industrial projects. He also has experience in multiple Material and Mechanic’s lien filings both domestically and internationally, which grants him a distinct understanding of the intricacies of statutory lien laws. After Jarett graduated from Rice University, and before beginning his legal studies and career, he was drafted in the 2009 National Football League (NFL) by the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he went on to become a professional athlete playing in the NFL for over four seasons. He is a recipient of the NFL’s Ed Block Courage Award (2011), presented to players of NFL organizations who display perseverance and courage.
