Council Member Amy Peck
Amy Peck was first elected in 2019 and is in her second term as the Houston City Council Member for District A, representing over 220,450 people. She also serves as the Vice Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Houston, and chair of the Public Safety Committee and vice chair of the Quality of Life Committee.
Peck has a long history serving Houstonians. She has spent most of her professional career supporting District A in various capacities on both the State and City levels of government. Peck knows what it takes to find solutions, navigate complicated governmental agencies, and get results.
Peck received her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Houston and did her internship at the VA Hospital in Houston where she counseled returning veterans and Vietnam veterans who suffered from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). ... More ...
