Houston Police Department officers were dispatched to a shooting in progress call. Upon arrival, officers heard firearms being discharged. The officers searched the location and found two male who proceeded to flee on foot. During the chase one of the suspects with a long gun turned and pointed it towards the officers. The officers discharged their weapons striking the suspect, The suspect continued to flee. The suspect was located in an apartment where several weapons were recovered. The suspect was transported to Texas Children’s Hospital where he was treated and is in stable condition.
