Houston Police Department officers were dispatched to a crash minor. Officers learned it was a 2 vehicle minor accident with a third vehicle that left before officers arrived. Officers were looking for the third vehicle when they finally located it they attempted to detain the driver for a possible FSGI investigation. Instead the suspect lifted his shirt and grabbed a firearm from his waistband. Two HPD officers discharged their duty weapons striking the suspect multiple times. The suspect was pronounced deceased at the scene.
