Officers were dispatched to a suicide that occurred at the Glenwood Apartment Homes. Officers contacted the reportee who opened the front door to the apartment. Officers were speaking with the reportee when they were confronted by the suspect who was armed with a knife. The suspect charged towards the officers who were still standing outside, and the suspect was shot multiple times. The suspect was transpoerted to Ben Taub Hospital where he died from his injuries.
