Houston Police officers from SW tactical unit and Gulf Coast violent offender were conducting surveillance on a murder suspect. Officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop and suspect crashed into a ditch. Suspect shot at officers and they returned fire. Suspect was struck in the upper torso. Officers were able to get the suspect in custody. No officers were injured during this incident.
