Houston Police Department officers were dispatched to a shooting that occurred where the suspect was shooting at multiple employees in a Sams Club. Upon arrival, officers observed the rear door of the store open, they announced themselves and entered. Officers encountered the suspect wearing armor and brandishing a handgun. The suspect began firing his gun at officers, officers on scene returned fire striking the suspect multiple times. Officers on scene rendered aid until he was transported to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries
