Houston Police Department Patrol Officers were dispatched to a family disturbance call in which an individual produced a handgun to a family member and expressed suicidal ideations. The family member contacted Law Enforcement who located the individual. During the encounter, the individual drew a gun and shot himself. At about the same time, an officer discharged their weapon towards the individual. An autopsy will be completed by the ME to determine the manner and cause of death.
