Houston Police Department officers were initially dispatched to an Aggravated Robbery. Officers learned the suspect had robbed a female at gunpoint and stole her vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and followed the suspect into an apartment complex. The suspect proceeded to evade on foot from the officers while discharging his weapon towards the officers. The Officers continued to chase after the suspect and returned fire towards the suspect after he didn’t obey verbal commands to drop his weapon after shooting at them again. Houston Police Officers then shot him multiple times until he surrendered. The suspect was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital, and he was last listed in critical condition. No Officers were hurt in this incident
