Officers were dispatched to a Home Invasion in Progress. Upon arrival, Officers confronted two suspects inside the residence. While an officer was taking one of the two suspects into custody, the second suspect appeared from a back room and began shooting at officers. Officer returned fire and the suspect fled the location out the back of the residence on foot. The second suspect was taken into custody a block away from the original location, while the third suspect, who remained in the vehicle but fled the location upon officers’ arrival, was taken into custody a few hours later several miles from the scene. One officer was struck in the leg and transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital for treatment. No suspects were injured during this incident.
