Witnesses at the scene reported the suspect shooting the complainant several times before attempting to flee on foot. When officers arrived, they found the suspect armed with 2 pistols. The suspect refused the officers commands, pointed a firearm at the officers, leading to the officers shooting the suspect several times. The complainant and suspect were both transported to Ben Taub Hospital where they are in critical condition.
