A Kingwood patrol officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a suspect vehicle. The vehicle refused to stop, and a pursuit ensued. The suspect then stopped the vehicle, exited, and became aggressive with the officer. At some point, the officer discharged his duty weapon twice at the suspect but did not strike him. The officer then deployed his taser and struck the suspect. The suspect was taken into custody without further incident.
