Houston Police Department officers were dispatched to a person down call. When officers arrived, they observed the suspect standing over the complainant pointing am AR pistol at him. The complainant was unresponsive. Officers gave verbal commands to the suspect to drop the weapon, and the suspect refused. The suspect pointed the weapon at the officers. Officers discharged their weapons striking the suspect. Both the complainant and suspect were pronounced deceased at the scene.
