Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 7111 Harwin Drive

March 27, 2025 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a man found at 7111 Harwin Drive about 5:50 p.m. on Wednesday (March 26).  

The suspect, Masiullah Sahil, 37, is charged with murder in the 177th State District Court.  A booking photo of Sahil is attached to this news release.  

The identity of the victim, 34, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Bounds and C. Davidson reported: 

HPD patrol officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to a person down call at an office building at the above address and found an unresponsive male with multiple stab wounds inside an office.  Paramedics pronounced the male deceased.  

Further investigation identified Sahil as the suspect and he was arrested by HPD Midwest Patrol Division officers in the 7400 block of Fondren Road without incident.  

Sahil admitted to his role in the incident.  The Harris County District Attorney's Office was contacted and Sahil was subsequently charged.  He was then booked into the Harris County Jail.
