September 5, 2024 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a female found at 9430 Concourse Drive about 11:40 p.m. on Wednesday (September 4).  

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective R. Lujan reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and found an unresponsive female in a walkway.  She had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the female deceased.  

A preliminary investigation indicated the female was seen walking with the suspect, described only as a Hispanic male, just prior to the shooting.  Surveillance photos of the suspect with the victim are attached to this news release.
