October 9, 2024 - HoustonHouston police have arrested one suspect and are searching for two others who have all been charged in the shooting of a man at 13611 Ella Boulevard that occurred about 1:10 a.m. on June 9.

One suspect, Carmel Jasean Bush, 20, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 208th State District Court. A booking photo of Bush, who is in custody, is attached to this news release. Two other suspects, Jviontae Jaquez Paige, 19, and Triwayne Eugene Davison, 18, are also charged with the same offense in the same court. Recent booking photos of Paige and Davison, who are not in custody, are attached to this news release.

The victim, 33, was transported to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Garcia and N. Aponte reported:

Patrol officers responded to a report of a shooting at a convenience store parking lot at the above address. Officers learned three males were in the parking lot when four unknown male suspects ran from around the corner and began shooting at them. One of the males (victim) suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The other two males were not struck. The suspects then fled in an unknown direction.

Further investigation identified three suspects and, on September 14, Bush, Paige and Davison were all charged for their roles in the shooting. Bush was in the Harris County Jail on unrelated charges. Paige and Davison are wanted and remain at-large.
