May 29, 2024 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 790 West Little York Road about 6 p.m. on Tuesday (May 28).  

The identity of the deceased man, 36, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Amri and N. Henderson reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at the above address and found an unresponsive man in his bedroom.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the man deceased.  

A  family member stated the man had come home two days prior (Sunday, May 26) and appeared to have been assaulted.  According to the family member, the man did not have his belongings with him as he usually did when he came home.  A family member later found him unresponsive and called for help.  

The investigation is pending the man's cause of death, to be determined by an autopsy.
