May 14, 2024 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a female found at 600 Holmes Road about 10:50 a.m. today (May 14).  

The identity and cause of death of the female are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Elsbury and Detective D. Arnold reported:  

METRO Police Department officers discovered the body of a female near the above address.  She was in a state of decomposition. 

The investigation is pending the female's manner and cause of death, to be determined by an autopsy.
