May 13, 2024 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 3100 North State Highway 6 about 4:25 a.m. on Saturday (May 11).   

The identity of the deceased male, 32, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Alejandro and M. Mathews reported:  

The male was operating a Honda motorcycle southbound near the above address. The driver of a Kia Forte was traveling northbound on North State Highway 6 and, as he made a left turn onto Groeschke Road, the Kia was struck by the motorcycle. The male was ejected from the motorcycle. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.  The driver of the Kia did not stop to provide assistance and fled the scene.  

The investigation is continuing.
