March 11, 2024 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman found at 4800 Briscoe Street about 7 p.m. on Friday (March 8).

The identity of the victim, 46, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives H. Martinez and S. Chettry reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at the above location and found the victim unresponsive in the front passenger seat of a parked vehicle on the side of the road. She had suffered at least one gunshot wound and responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene.
