June 24, 2024 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8119 Jutland Road about 4:30 a.m. on Saturday (June 22).

The Identity of the victim, 36, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Caten and M. Barrow reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at a duplex residence at the above address and found the victim unresponsive and lying in the driveway. He had been shot multiple times. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.

According to witnesses, an argument between the victim and an unknown suspect may have occurred prior to the shooting.

At this time, there is no known suspect description.
