June 13, 2024 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5602 Selinsky Road about 7:25 p.m. on Wednesday (June 12).

The identity of the victim, 17, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Waterwall and C. Vaughn reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and found an unresponsive male with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot. Officers provided medical assistance until Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.

Two persons of interest have been identified, however, no charges have been filed as the investigation is continuing.
