June 3, 2024 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the apparent drowning of a juvenile female at 2828 Rogerdale Road about 8:10 p.m. on Saturday (June 1).

The identity of the girl, 5, and her manner and cause of death are pending an autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives E. Torres II and A. Graf II reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a drowning call at an apartment complex at the above address and found a child unresponsive in the pool. Paramedics transported her to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
