June 3, 2024 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 16000 Imperial Valley Drive about 11:20 p.m. on Saturday (June 1).

The identity of the deceased male, 28, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Sudduth and Officer L. Fenogolio reported:

The male was crossing the road, not in a marked crosswalk, at the above address when he was struck by a vehicle, believed to be a red Dodge Ram, travelling southbound. The driver fled the scene.

Paramedics transported the male to an area hospital where doctors pronounced him deceased.
