June 3, 2024 - Houston police have learned a woman critically injured in a hit-and-run crash at 7900 Renwick Drive about 4 p.m. on May 26 has died.

The identity of the victim, 38, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant V. Vo and Officer T. Pham reported:

The woman, a pedestrian, was walking on a sidewalk at the above address when she was struck by a white Jeep Cherokee after the Jeep had struck a curb while traveling southbound. The driver of the Jeep fled the scene.

Paramedics transported the victim to Ben Taub General Hospital where doctors pronounced her deceased on May 29.
