July 22, 2024 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 4000 Blalock Road about 7:30 p.m. on Saturday (July 20).  

The identity of the deceased male, 29, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Richards and Officer C. Brothers reported:  

The male was operating a red Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle northbound near the above address when he lost control and struck the curb of a center median.  The motorcycle then landed on the grassy area of the median.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.  

The investigation is continuing.
