July 22, 2024 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a juvenile male and the wounding of another male at 4001 Corder Street about 1:25 p.m. last Friday (July 19).  

The identity of the deceased victim, 16, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Clark and N. Nicotra reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found an unresponsive juvenile male with gunshot wounds.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.   Officers then learned a second male,19, had been shot and was transported by HFD paramedics to an area hospital in stable condition.  

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
