July 10, 2024 - Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 7000 Mullins Drive about 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday (July 9).

The identity of the deceased male, 30, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Wu and Officer J. Chen reported:

A gray Yamaha motorcycle was traveling northbound on Mullins Drive at a high rate of speed at the above address when the motorcycle struck a white Toyota 4 Runner.  The Toyota had been driving southbound on Mullins Drive and was attempting to make a left turn into a business when the motorcycle struck the SUV.

The male operating the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The male driver, 34, of the Toyota remained on the scene, was questioned and released.  The driver did not show signs of intoxication.

The investigation is continuing.
