July 5, 2024 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 11600 Highway 90 about 9:35 a.m. today (July 5).  

The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Alejandro and Officer M. Mathews reported:  

The male was operating a black Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle at a high rate of speed southbound near the above address when he lost control of the motorcycle and struck a light pole.  The male was ejected from the motorcycle at the entrance ramp of Hiram Clarke Road.  

Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the male to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  

No other persons or vehicles were involved in this crash. 

The investigation is continuing.
