January 16, 2024 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 5400 Heatherbrook Drive about 8:05 p.m. last Friday (January 12).  

The identity of the victim, 33, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant. N. Lazo and Detective M. Providence reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at a parking lot at the above address and found the victim lying unresponsive in the parking lot.  He had been shot multiple times and responding Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to Ben Taub General Hospital here he was pronounced deceased.  

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
