January 2, 2024 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 14551 Cullen Boulevard about 5:20 a.m. on Sunday (Dec. 31).

The identity of the victim, 24, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives E. May and C. Sharp reported:

Officers were dispatched to a person down call in a parking lot in the back of a game room at the above address and observed the victim with an apparent gunshot wound.  Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene. 

It is believed the victim was taking out trash when an unknown suspect fatally shot him.  There is no suspect description at this time.
