February 19, 2024 - Houston police are investigating a fatal shooting of a man found at 3835 Brookmeade Drive about 11:05 p.m. on Sunday (February 18).

The identity of the victim, 17, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detectives G. Zavala and A Hernandez reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at the above address and found an unresponsive male lying on the sidewalk. He had suffered a gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.

At this time, there is no known suspect description.
