February 12, 2024 - A suspect wanted and charged in the fatal shooting of a man found at 838 Green Meadow Lane about 9:30 a.m. on March 12, 2021 has been arrested.

The suspect, Wallick Eli Thompson, 48, is charged with murder in the 248th State District Court. Thompson's booking photo is attached to this news release.

He is accused in the death of William Satterfield, 35.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Detective L. Lovelace reported:

Officers discovered the victim, later identified as Mr. Satterfield, unresponsive behind a residence at the above address. Some concrete mix was present on the man's upper body. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Further investigation identified Thompson as the suspect in this case and, on November 30, 2023, he was charged for his role in this incident.

On Saturday (Feb. 10), South Central patrol officers arrested Thompson and he was booked into the Harris County Jail.
