February 5, 2024 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male found at 10301 Kipp Way Drive about 8:50 a.m. on Sunday (February 4).

The identity of the male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Lopez and Detective N. Sharp reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a deceased person near the above address and found an unresponsive male with multiple gunshot wounds lying in a patch of grass near the intersection of Kipp Way Drive and the West Sam Houston South Parkway service road. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
