December 26, 2024 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 9251 Burdine Street about 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday (December 25).

The identity of the victim,15, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek and Detective M. Castillo reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address. Upon arrival, officers found an unresponsive male with a gunshot wound in the parking lot. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.

At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspects.
