December 23, 2024 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of two men that occurred at 2909 Westridge Street about 4 p.m. on Friday (Dec. 20).

The identity of both deceased males, 27 and 30, are pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives H. Martin and S. Chettry reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting and found both victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the first male, 27, deceased at the scene. The second male, 30, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Preliminary investigation indicates both males fired shots at each other during a dispute.

The investigation is continuing.
