August 7, 2024 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 10100 Clay Road about 2:45 a.m. today.

The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer D. Thompson reported:  

The male was driving a black Honda Civic eastbound near the above address when, for unknown reasons, he failed to stay in a single lane and left the roadway.  The Honda then struck a utility pole.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.  

The investigation is continuing.
