August 6, 2024 - Houston police have released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 10000 Club Creek Drive about 11:10 p.m. on July 9.

The composite sketch of the suspect is attached to this news release.

The victim is identified as Claudio Diaz, 34.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Davidson and A. Finlay reported:

HPD patrol officers responded a shooting call at the above address and found the victim, later identified as Mr. Diaz, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the roadway. Officers provided first aid, however, paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Investigators learned the victim was involved in a physical altercation with two unknown suspects. One suspect produced a gun and shot the victim. Both suspects fled the scene on foot.

After speaking with witnesses, investigators are releasing a composite sketch of a suspect.
