September 28, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 4638 Sunflower Street about 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday (September 27).  

The identity of the victim, believed to be between 30 and 40 years of age, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Wilson and Detective M. Castillo reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the area near the above address and found an unresponsive male in the driveway of a residence.  He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.  Houston Fire department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the man deceased.  

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
