September 28, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9920 Porto Rico Road that occurred about 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday (September 27).  

The identity of the victim, 18, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Waterwall and C. Vaughn reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found the victim unresponsive in the driver's seat of a pickup truck.  He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.  

According to witnesses, three to four unknown males fled the scene in a gray, four-door sedan of unknown make or model.
