September 26, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of female at 10100 Ashville Drive about 4:25 a.m. today (Sept. 26).

The identity of the deceased victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Olive and Detective T. Tyler reported:

HPD officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found the female lying in the grass on a utility right-of-way. She had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Officers provided first aid to the victim. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene.
