September 5, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of two males at 3825 Southlawn Street about 5:25 p.m. on Monday (Sept. 4).

The identities of the victims are pending notifications to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Herrera, J. Gardner, and C. Vaughn reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the courtyard of an apartment complex at the above address and found the victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department pronounced one male deceased at the scene and transported the other male to an area hospital where doctors pronounced him deceased.

At this time there is no known motive or suspect(s).
