October 23, 2023 - A man critically injured in a crash at 3700 West T. C. Jester Boulevard about 9 a.m. on October 10 has died.

The identity of the man, 74, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant Y. Ramirez and Officer F. Flynn reported:

The man was driving a white Dodge Ram ProMaster cargo van southbound near the above address when he failed to stay in a single lane. The Dodge went onto a raised median and then struck a tree.

Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the man to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition. Doctors pronounced the man deceased on Saturday (October 21).

The investigation is continuing.
