October 20, 2023 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 7800 Airport Boulevard about 3:20 a.m. on Thursday (October 19).

The identity of the woman, 35, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:

HPD Hobby Airport Division patrol officers responded to a suspicious person call regarding a female transported by paramedics to an area hospital after being found unresponsive in a break room area. It is believed the employee suffered a severe laceration to her arm while away from her workplace. Several hours after she was transported to the hospital, doctors pronounced the woman deceased.

A preliminary investigation determined no foul play was involved.

The investigation is pending the woman's cause of death, to be determined by an autopsy.
